Kia ora Mr Nigel Easson. I heard there as an earthquake in Kaikoura, so we are fundraising to help your community feel better. I hope your community is feel all right.

Smoke alarms

I strongly believe that parents should have working smoke alarms.

Firsty, if a fire starts in the night, you will not be able to smell. The smoke alarm will wake you up.

It will wake you early. So you can get out fast!

You should yell ‘ FIRE, FIRE, FIRE’!

If you don’t have a smoke alarm, go to the shop and buy a smoke alarm.

Therefore parents should have working smoke alarms.

Going to the beach

First when we got to Taipa Beach, I built a magnificent sand castle. Then I saw a big wave coming, then I jumped on my boogie board and I caught the wave. It was so fun, I never noticed my family leaving me in the lurch. I yelled” wait for me mum!” As I was yelling I saw a big wave coming up behind me. Just then it crashed on top of me.I thought it was scary but I want to go there again.

My Term 3 Art Reflection

My birthday party

First in the morning when I opened my eyes, I was so excited because it was my birthday party. All my friend will be coming to my house to play.

I had a princess cake. What princess do you think I had on my birthday cake? It was Rapunzel and her hair had m and ms for each two cms and they were orange. The birthday party started at 3:00. The first game was catapulting marshmallows. It is when you build the catapult with ice cream sticks then put bungees to put together. Because some of my friends were late that is why we did catapulting marshmallows. Finally all my friends arrived and I opened all my presents. I got a pink and purple drink bottle from Chelsea. I got a doodle book and colouring pencils from Ava. Alyssa didn’t bring a present because she already got me a present and gave it to me at school. Mackenzie and Amber were helpers so they didn’t bring a present. Then we went outside in the bushes for a bush treasure hunt.  We did parse the parcel and I got stopped last and I won a plush teddy bear. Then we made a pizza for each of us. Me and Chelsea joined our pizza dough together and made one big pizza.

It was the best birthday party ever!
